Prophylaxis

Apply Super Seal after Prophylaxis (cleaning and scaling).

Examine area to be treated and prep the area if necessary.

To apply Super Seal, gently rub a saturated cotton pellet onto the entire preparation for at least 30 seconds. (DO NOT BRUSH). Be sure to saturate the area well. Super Seal may be applied to a damp or dry surface. Use gentle air to evaporate the solution from the treated area. Do not rinse or use a hard blast of air because it will remove the material from the site. Test for sensitivity and reapply if necessary to ensure all tubules have been sealed.

NOTE: If the patient has extreme sensitivity apply Super Seal before and after prophylaxis.

Super Seal can be warmed can be warmed to 95-100 degrees F for patients that have teeth that are extremely sensitive to cold.
